Representative experience includes:

• Representation of the five project companies – each a joint venture between ACWA Power, Public Investment Fund (PIF) company Badeel and Saudi Aramco – on the signing of a multi-billion dollar financing for a portfolio of five solar photovoltaic projects located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a combined capacity of 12,000 MW.
• Representation of Saudi Aramco on a US$11 billion lease and leaseback deal involving its Jafurah gas processing facilities with a consortium of international investors led by funds managed by Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a part of BlackRock.
• Representation of Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) as procurer on the structuring and tendering of multiple wastewater PPP projects (on a long-term BOOT basis) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Representation of Saudi Aramco on its acquisition of a 50% interest in Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases Company (BHIG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air Products Qudra, itself a joint venture between Air Products and Chemicals Inc and Vision Invest.
• Representation of AviLease in connection with a US$2.5 billion unsecured facility comprising a conventional facility of US$1.73 billion and a Shari'ah-compliant facility of US$770 million. The transaction was supported by a syndicate of 24 banks, and the proceeds were used to refinance a bridge facility secured in 2023 to help fund AviLease's purchase of Standard Chartered's aircraft leasing platform.
• Representation of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (on behalf of the Saudi Government) in the investment of over $5.3 billion (approx. SAR 19.88 billion) in Saudi Arabia by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Representation of Saudi Aramco in connection with the US$13 billion SATORP refinery in Jubail, Saudi Arabia in joint venture with TOTAL. We also advised on the refinancing of various existing loans for the refinery complex.
• Representation of Saudi Aramco as procurer in connection with the development and financing of residential compounds and ancillary facilities on a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.
