Anas Al-Banyan is associate in The Law Office of Megren M. Al-Shaalan, with which White & Case practices in cooperation in Saudi Arabia.

Anas advises clients on a broad range of regulatory, tax, corporate and securities matters including private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and corporate governance.

Anas is a New York –law qualified lawyer. Anas speaks both English and Arabic with native fluency, and is able to negotiate and draft legal documents in both languages.

Prior to joining Law Office of Megren M. Al-Shaalan, Albanyan served as the leader for the consumer protection legislative team at the Ministry of Commerce. His major responsibilities included designing policies and drafting regulation that focused on consumer protection.

Anas previously also held the position of Chairman of the Commercial Registrar Law Sanctions Quasi-Judicial Committee.
