Andrea García specializes in general taxation, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. She also represents clients in matters related to international taxation and tax litigation. Her dual expertise as a tax lawyer and internationalist enables her to provide comprehensive guidance on the multilateral impact of potential tax liabilities within corporate structures. Her practice includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and the application of international tax treaties.
Andrea's experience also includes advising on the application of Free Trade Agreements, permits, non-tariff barriers, and countervailing duties. She has represented international clients in customs audits and the review of rules of origin, and provides strategic counsel to customs brokers and clients to ensure compliance with transaction value rules and the applicable customs regimes for imports and exports.
Prior to joining White & Case, Andrea worked at a prestigious law firm in Mexico.
