Biography
Overview
Andres Ivan Navedo is an associate in the Competition section with significant experience in antitrust and intellectual property disputes. He has worked for several leading global pharmaceutical clients including Novo Nordisk and Pfizer as they faced patent infringement, reverse payment, sham citizen petitions, and trade secret claims. Mr. Navedo works on cutting-edge antitrust and intellectual property matters with few precedents, and has worked at both the trial and appellate stages. He has presented at conferences on discovery issues and intellectual property careers, and has published on forum selection trends in patent infringement cases.
In addition, Mr. Navedo works on several pro bono matters in education law, and most recently worked on a class action lawsuit fighting for the education rights of the children of Flint, Michigan. Additionally, he has collaborated with the firm's corporate clients on death penalty appeals and immigration petitions. Mr. Navedo has received the firm's pro bono award every year he has been at the firm, and is an active member of the Latinx Lawyers' Affinity Network (Alianza).
