Biography

Andrew is an associate in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group and is based out of White & Case's New York office. Andrew's practice focuses on creditor representations in out-of-court and in-court restructurings. In particular, Andrew has significant experience with unsecured and secured ad hoc groups, unsecured creditors committees, and liability-management exercises. Andrew also represents debtors, primarily in the cross-border context and in Chapter 15 proceedings.

Andrew maintains a significant pro bono practice. Recent representations include representing the prisoners of the Red Onion prison in their class action suit against the state, providing counsel for New York City residents in their divorce proceedings, working with the Legal Aid Society on their "Case Closed" project, and representation of a New York City student in their proceedings pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ("IDEA").
