Overview

Berra Akcan is an associate in the Litigation group in the Firm's New York office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial disputes representing international clients in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. She also maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on art law and public international law.

During law school, Berra was an Article Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender and Vice President of the Harvard Committee on Sports & Entertainment Law. Her academic research specialized in legal approaches to the repatriation of art in museums, for which she was a recipient of the Cravath International Fellowship.
