Dr. Bettina Enz

Associate, Berlin

Biography

Overview

Bettina Enz is a Berlin-based lawyer of the Firm's White Collar Practice Group. She specializes in advising providers of social media platforms and OTT services on all matters related to criminal law (including obligations under the NetzDG) and requests for information from German law enforcement authorities. In that context, Bettina is mostly concerned with interdisciplinary and/or cross-border issues – which are key areas of her legal expertise. Creating practical solutions to the challenges posed by newly arising legal matters is an essential aspect of her work in this still uncharted area of law.

Prior to joining White & Case, Bettina gained extensive experience in the field of (legal) research, focusing on comparative criminal law (especially Germany - USA) and interdisciplinary topics. She was appointed as a Visiting Researcher at University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law and worked at the German Embassy in Tel Aviv.
