Biography

Overview

Chris is an associate in the Firm's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group in London.

Chris has experience with cross-border insolvency issues, distressed debt investments, restructurings, administrations, company voluntary arrangements and schemes of arrangement. In addition, his experience includes involvement in capital markets and debt finance transactions. Chris has worked with a diverse range of clients, including distressed investors, creditor committees, banks, debtors, agents and directors.

Chris spent ten months on secondment with Anchorage Capital Group in 2020, supporting their European legal practice. In 2017-2018, Chris spent eight months on secondment with the legal department of the European Special Situations Group of Goldman Sachs, advising on restructuring and corporate transactions. Chris has also previously spent six months working in the Firm's Singapore office, where his focus was on corporate M&A and project finance matters.
