Claudia Lelo de Larrea is an experienced lawyer in the M&A and antitrust areas, as well as in international trade and dispute settlement.
Claudia is an associate in the Firm's Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, based in Mexico City. She focuses on antitrust matters, including complex mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining White & Case, Claudia worked for the Investigative Authority of the Mexican Telecommunications Institute, dealing with the investigation of cartels, monopolistic practices and illegal mergers on the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors, and earlier, for the General Director of Legal Affairs of the Federal Economic Competition Commission, as well as for General Counsel for International Trade of the Ministry of Economy.
Prior to that, Claudia practiced law in a boutique international trade law firm, where she dealt with trade remedies investigations and commercial arbitrations.
