David A. Viklund

David Viklund is a partner in the Firm's Real Estate Industry Group and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, based in the firm's New York office. 

David represents private equity firms, REITs and other investors in real estate in all aspects of financing their investments as well as in the acquisition and disposition of assets. David also represents institutional lenders in all aspects of real estate finance and restructurings, as well as investors in the acquisition, development and operation of commercial properties and derivative real estate products. 

David also advises institutional lenders in all aspects of real estate finance and restructurings and investors in the acquisition, development and operation of commercial properties and derivative real estate products. He has extensive experience with representing lenders in originating loans intended for securitization secured by commercial real estate projects located in the United States and Europe. Additionally, he advises foreign and domestic banks in the origination of term loans and construction loans and the syndication thereof to other banks and institutions.
