Biography
Elina Jimenez is an associate in the Firm's Commercial Litigation Practice and a member of the Firm's Technology Industry Group. She represents multinational technology companies in cross-border disputes, class-action litigation and advises on global regulatory developments that impact their businesses and products. Elina's practice focuses on issues such as data protection, privacy, intermediary liability and security. Elina also represented sovereign states and companies in high-stakes cases before major arbitral institutions.
Elina graduated cum laude with a joint JD/LLM in International Arbitration degree from the University of Miami, where she was the President of the Miami Law International Arbitration Society.
Elina has dual training and extensive experience as a civil and common law attorney. Prior to joining White & Case, Elina clerked for a federal judge, worked in-house at an international construction company, and was in private practice in Moscow. Elina's ability to navigate and understand two distinct legal systems allows her to precept various dimensions of legal and practical issues involved and adaptively tailor her legal advice.
Elina is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/EU) and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
