Biography
Eloy is a senior associate in White & Case's Global Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Practice in Madrid. His practice centres on complex civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, with a strong focus on multi-jurisdictional disputes involving parties and legal systems across Europe, Latin America and Africa.
He advises and represents multinational corporations in complex commercial litigation before the Spanish courts and in international proceedings, as well as in arbitrations administered by leading institutions such as the ICC, the LCIA and the CAM. His work regularly involves designing integrated dispute strategies, coordinating multi-party and multi-forum proceedings across jurisdictions, which includes pursuing interim relief and enforcing foreign awards in cross-border contexts.
Eloy has handled commercial disputes across a broad range of sectors, including energy, construction, real estate, financial services, retail and technology. His specialist litigation experience encompasses antitrust damages actions, alongside intellectual property disputes covering landmark cases at the frontier of emerging digital environments such as the metaverse. In addition to his civil practice, he has significant experience in complex criminal proceedings before Spain's Audiencia Nacional.
Beyond his contentious practice, Eloy advises multinational corporations on EU regulatory matters, including competition law compliance, geo-blocking and whistleblowing frameworks. His international profile has been further shaped by his secondment to White & Case's Miami office. He is also an active member of the firm's EMEA Innovation Group, where he contributes to the design and implementation of technology and artificial intelligence tools across the Firm's practice.
