Biography

Emelie Söderman is an associate in our Debt Finance practice in Stockholm and joined White & Case in 2018.

Prior to joining White & Case, Emelie studied law at Stockholm University. She commenced her career at the Firm as a summer trainee and, subsequently, joined as a junior trainee.

Experience

Representation of Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan and Nordea Bank as Mandated Lead Arrangers, on the issuance by Assemblin of €480 million senior secured floating rate notes due 2029 and the establishment of new €180 million super senior revolving credit and guarantee facilities as well as a new pension guarantee facility. Assemblin is one of the Nordic region's leading providers of complete installation and service solutions, with a primary focus on electrical engineering, heating, sanitation, ventilation and automation.

Representation of Oatly, a leading producer of plant-based and dairy-free food products, on a US$430 million financing arrangement, consisting of a private placement of US$300 million 9.25 percent convertible senior PIK notes due 2028, a new US$130 million term loan B credit facility and a SEK2.1 billion amended sustainability-linked revolving credit facility.
