Eric Lenier Ives
Biography
Overview
Eric is an associate in the International Arbitration group in the Firm's New York office. His practice focuses on investment and commercial arbitration and complex commercial disputes.
Eric is also active in asylum pro bono matters, helping asylum seekers navigate the U.S. immigration system. He also continues to support the Columbia Law School-Universität Hamburg Asylum Law Exchange Program which he founded while in law school.
Prior to joining White & Case, Eric represented Columbia at the 25th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, advancing to the Round of 8 and receiving Honorable Mentions for his oral advocacy and his team's written submissions. Eric also represented Columbia at the NYSBA Judith S. Kaye Arbitration Competition in 2018 and placed first.
