Debt Finance

Edizione S.p.A., one of Europe's largest conglomerates, in connection with (i) a €1 billion term and revolving facilities agreement with a pool of Italian and international lenders including Mediobanca, Intesa Sanpaolo, Société Generale, Banco BPM, Caixa, BNL, BNP Paribas, Banco Santander and UniCredit and (ii) a bilateral €500 million revolving margin loan facility agreement with Crédit Agricole.

Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. as original lender, mandated lead arranger and security agent in connection with a €200 million term credit facility to Italian construction company Salini S.p.A.

Banco BPM S.p.A., Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Ver Capital SGR S.p.A. and Muzinich & Co. SGR S.p.A., as lenders, in connection with the €37.9 million refinancing of the existing financial indebtedness of Pinarello S.r.l. and the granting of a term loan guaranteed by SACE S.p.A.

US investment fund Starwood Capital Group in connection with a financing for the renovation of the Hotel Danieli in Venice, an historic and iconic luxury asset in Statuto Group's real estate portfolio. The transaction was organized by the US investment fund King Street Capital Management L.P. with the participation of Starwood Capital Group.

A pool of banks including Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Banco BPM, Banco di Sardegna, Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario and UniCredit, as mandated lead arrangers and original lenders in connection with a term financing granted to Burgo S.p.A. and guaranteed by SACE S.p.A. under Article 1 of the Italian Liquidity Decree.

A pool of lenders including Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A., Banco BPM S.p.A., Banca Popolare di Sondrio S.C.p.A. and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. in connection with a €37.5 million term loan financing to Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A. guaranteed by SACE S.p.A. under Article 1 of the Italian Liquidity Decree.

Financial Restructuring and Insolvency

Compagnia Internazionale Tessuti S.p.A. (formerly Arav Fashion S.p.A.) in connection with the financial restructuring of its indebtedness through a composition with creditors proceedings on a going concern basis under Articles 160 and ff. of the Italian Bankruptcy Law.

A pool of banks including Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Banco BPM, Banco di Sardegna, Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario and UniCredit, as mandated lead arrangers and original lenders in connection with a term financing granted to Burgo S.p.A. and guaranteed by SACE S.p.A. under Article 1 of the Italian Liquidity Decree.

A pool of banks, including Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and UniCredit S.p.A., in connection with the restructuring of over €375 million indebtedness of Mednav S.p.A. and its subsidiaries in the context of a recovery plan under Article 67 of the Italian Bankruptcy Law.*
