Biography
Gursehaj Singh is a litigation associate in the New York office. He is a dual-licensed attorney and is qualified to practice both in India and New York. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts, with an emphasis on cross-border disputes. He has also advised foreign sovereigns and their state-owned entities in actions arising under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA). Gursehaj maintains an active pro bono practice focused primarily on immigration proceedings, criminal appeals, and public international law.
Gursehaj earned his JD from Cornell Law School, where he was an Executive Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and the President of the Cornell International Arbitration Society. He also attended Jindal Global Law School for his undergraduate law degree, where he competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and was placed among the top 32 teams in the International Rounds.
