Biography

Overview

Gwen is an associate in the Firm's Dispute Resolution group in London. She practices both commercial litigation and international arbitration and she has worked with clients from a variety of sectors. She has experience of arbitration under the ICC rules as well as experience of litigation before the English and BVI Courts.

Gwen joined the Firm as a trainee in 2016 and completed a secondment with the International Arbitration Group in the Firm's Paris office.

Experience

Acting for a shareholder in a large telecommunications company in relation to ICC arbitration proceedings in Paris and also ancillary proceedings in the BVI and the Netherlands. Representing the main contractor on one of the world's largest infrastructure projects located in Central America, in a series of ICC arbitrations against the employer (as well as proceedings before the English Courts brought by the employer), worth in excess of $1 billion. Acting for a joint venture against a government entity in a dispute relating to a major water and sewerage infrastructure project in the Caribbean. Representing a leading European gas buyer in a price reopener dispute under long-term supply contracts.
