Biography
Ian Malesiewski is an associate in White & Case's Debt Finance practice and is based in the Miami office.
Ian's practice focuses on representing private credit and direct lenders, major commercial and investment banks, as well as equity sponsors, corporations and other borrowers in a wide range of domestic and international financing transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, syndicated financings, acquisition financings, asset-based and working capital financings, restructurings and refinancings, and debtor-in-possession financings.
Experience
Select representation includes:
- Alpha Generation, LLC on US$650 million of incremental term loans, and an upsize of its revolving credit facility to US$975 million.
- Alpha Generation, LLC on the repricing of US$2.22 billion of existing term loans and the repricing of its US$700 million revolving credit facility. The term loan repricing transaction is expected to result in interest expense savings of approximately US$5.5 million annually.
- Talen Energy Supply (NASDAQ: TLN) on the repricing of its existing US$846 million senior secured term loan B facility and the maturity extension of such facility from May 2030 to November 2032, and the repricing of its existing US$839 million senior secured term loan B facility due December 2031.
- Talen Energy Supply (NASDAQ: TLN) on US$2.85 billion of credit facility transactions, consisting of an upsize of its revolving credit facility to US$1.35 billion, an upsize of its letter-of-credit facility to US$1.5 billion and a maturity extension of the letter-of-credit facility.
