Biography

Overview

Ivan is a Solicitor of England and Wales and associate in White & Case International Arbitration Group, based in London. Ivan has a broad practice in complex cross-border arbitration disputes. His experience includes representing sovereign states, companies and individuals in investor-state, commercial and construction disputes under the ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, UNCITRAL, LCIA and ICC rules as well as ad hoc arbitration under domestic arbitration laws.

Before joining the Dispute Resolution group, Ivan also gained experience in the Firm's Private Equity and African Project Finance groups. Ivan also spent six months working in the Firm's Dubai arbitration group. Prior to joining White & Case Ivan had worked as an intern at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Ivan is committed to pro bono work and is actively involved in pro bono projects within the Firm, including assisting international NGOs, such as Public International Law & Policy Group, with documenting war crimes and human rights violations, resulting from civil unrest and military conflicts.
