Biography
Jack is an associate in our global M&A and Corporate practice and a member of the Private Equity team. He advises international and local private equity firms, corporates, investors and financial institutions on complex domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, strategic investments and divestments across a range of sectors.
Experience
Representative transactions include advising:
- Dream Games, the developer and publisher of globally renowned mobile games Royal Match and Royal Kingdom, on a strategic investment from CVC.
- Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia, on the agreement to increase its ownership stake in Olam Agri Holdings Limited (Olam Agri) from 35.4 percent to 80.01 percent for approximately US$1.78 billion, with a call option to acquire the remaining 19.99 percent within three years.
- Armira, a German mid-market focused private equity fund, on its acquisition of the Intersurgical Group, a UK-based medical masks and respiratory devices manufacturer, for a total enterprise value of c. £2bn.
- Diafa Investment Holdings RSC Ltd (Diafa), a joint venture between International Holding Company (IHC) and Turmeric Capital, on its acquisition of 49.99% of the issued share capital of Azumi Limited, a London-based hospitality group specialising in the development, operation and management of high-end restaurants and luxury dining concepts.
- Diafa Investment Holdings RSC Ltd (Diafa), on its acquisition of a majority interest in The HWood Group, LLC (HWood), a Los-Angeles based hospitality and lifestyle group.
- Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş., one of Türkiye's main cryptocurrency platforms, in its acquisition of CNMENA Holding Ltd, a cryptocurrency platform operating in the Middle East, including the UAE and Bahrain.
- Norvestor, a Norwegian mid-market focused private equity fund, on its acquisition of a market-leading provider of tyre services in the United Kingdom.
- ASMA Capital Partners B.S.C.(c) on the sale of its shareholding in a well-known group of dental clinics in the UAE.
