Overview

Jakub Khier focuses his practice on the real estate sector. He provides legal assistance to clients, including prime developers, real estate funds and banks, especially concerning real estate purchase and sale transactions, due diligence reviews and commercialization. He has advised on acquisitions of wind farm projects in Poland and been involved in several transactions concerning the financing and refinancing of real estate (logistics, office and retail properties).

His recent experience includes:

Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc: representation of Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc on the acquisition of two in-construction onshore wind farms in Poland (the 'Krzecin' and 'Kuslin' wind farms) with a combined capacity of 58.8 MW from the PNE Group, a German developer of wind projects across Europe. The projects are financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and BayernLB.

An investor: representation of an investor in connection with the acquisition of a wind farm project in Poland.

An investor: representation of an investor, the leading global owner of logistics real estate, in the acquisition of a logistics center in Poland.

An investor: representation of a real estate investor, a global market leader in logistics real estate, in connection with the refinancing of a logistics portfolio in Poland.

An investor: representation of a real estate investor in connection with the commercialization of a portfolio of offices located in Poland (Warsaw and Krakow).

A bank: representation of a bank in connection with the refinancing of an office building located in Poland.
