James Ateh
Biography
Overview
James is an associate in the Firm's Private Equity Group and focuses on private equity acquisitions and equity investments. He has experience in a broad range of corporate transactions, including private equity, international M&A, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.
James joined the private equity team in June 2019 having trained at White & Case, and having spent six months on secondment in the Firm's Corporate M&A team in the Hong Kong office.

Agthia Group PJSC, a public company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and specialized in food and Beverages, on its acquisition of Al Faysal Bakery and Sweets Company W.L.L., a leading manufacturer of bakery products in Kuwait.
Dubai-headquartered PE investor in connection with their investment in a petroleum business engaged in oil refining and the sale of petroleum.
The Smithfield Group (as the investment manager of the Fairfield Partnership) on its sale of Innovia (a specialist label, packaging and security supplier) to CCL Industries, a listed Canadian corporate.
Rhône Capital LLC, on its acquisition of ASK Chemicals GmbH from Ashland Inc. and Clariant.
Petroleum Equity LLP, on the implementation of its management incentive plan.
