Biography

Overview

Janina is a commercial litigation associate in White & Case's Dispute Resolution Group based in London. She advises clients in high-value, complex and cross-border commercial disputes before the English Courts, in international arbitrations and mediations. 

Janina has a particular interest in ESG and Business & Human Rights. She was the Firm's first "ESG trainee" after she successfully pitched for the introduction of an ESG split-seat between the firm's Disputes and Corporate practices. She also spent six months in the Firm's Tax group. 

Janina is committed to pro bono, and has worked on international pro bono and social justice projects in Poland and South Africa.

Janina joined White & Case from another leading law firm in August 2020, where she gained experience in the Capital Markets (Securitisation), Finance, and Fintech practices. Janina was seconded to her former firm's contentious Competition and Intellectual Property team in Brussels, and completed a client secondment at one of the world's largest Private Banks. 

Prior to legal practice, Janina worked at the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg; specialising in Foreign Affairs, Security & Defence and Human Rights.
