Jessy Van Kooten
Biography
Overview
Jessy is an associate in White & Case's Debt Finance practice and is based in the New York office. His experience includes advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, major commercial and investment banks and direct lenders on a wide range of debt financing transactions, primarily in the context of domestic and cross-border leveraged acquisition financings.
In 2022, Jessy also spent several months on secondment to the Firm's London office as part of the Debt Finance team working on cross border financing transactions.

Representation of a major private equity sponsor in connection with the acquisition of a US-based organization operating in the healthcare sector
Representation of Encore Capital Group in connection with its new US$1.5 billion global funding structure and various offerings of senior secured notes
Representation of the initial purchasers in connection with a series of high yield bond offerings for a major software organization
Representation of Mill Point Capital in connection with various acquisition financing transactions
Representation of DC Capital Partners in connection with financing transactions in relation to several of its portfolio companies
