Biography
Jonathan Bi is an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group and is resident in the New York office. Jon advises public and private companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate transactions across a range of industries. Jon also has experience advising on general corporate governance matters, shareholder activism defense and corporate restructurings.
Experience
- Clarivate Plc on its entry into an agreement on the sale of its Life Sciences & Healthcare segment to Altaris LLC for a headline value of $600 million.
- Iridium Communications Inc. on its entry into an agreement on its sale to Rocket Lab Corporation for approximately $8 billion.
- Durational Capital Management on its strategic investment into Garage Beer.
- Nova Biomedical Corporation on its $2.2 billion acquisition by Advanced Instruments, a subsidiary of Patricia Industries.
- Big Lots, Inc. on the sale of substantially all of its assets to Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, LLC.
- Paychex, Inc. on its $4.1 billion acquisition of Paycor HCM, Inc.
- Packaging Finance Limited as the majority shareholder of Pactiv Evergreen Inc. in connection with its $6.7 billion acquisition by Novolex.
