Biography

Joss Cary is an associate in the Project Development and Finance Group in London. He has experience advising on a broad range of transactions including project and corporate financings as well as development and construction of major infrastructure and energy projects in the EMEA region.

Joss joined the Firm as a trainee in 2021 and has completed a six month secondment in our Dubai office.

Experience

Representation of Saudi Aramco on a US$11 billion lease and leaseback deal, involving its Jafurah gas processing facilities, with a consortium of international investors led by funds managed by Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), part of BlackRock.

Representation of QatarEnergy and Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) on a US$4.4 billion secured financing of a major greenfield petrochemical facility to be located at a site in Ras Laffan Industrial City in the State of Qatar.

Representation of the lenders on the bifurcated stapled financings for Shell's onshore and shallow water assets in Nigeria acquired by Renaissance Africa Energy, a consortium of five Nigerian oil and gas companies.

Representation of Neoen S.A., one of the world's leading independent producers of exclusively renewable energy, on the approximately €220 million project financing of a 203 MW onshore wind farm portfolio in Finland.
