Biography
Overview
Jussi is a Senior Associate in our Helsinki office, and focuses on private equity and M&A transactions.
His experience includes advising private equity firms and industrial clients in their cross-border M&A transactions and other corporate matters in Finland. Jussi also has significant capital markets experience through work relating to public M&A as well as international equity and debt offerings by Finnish and other Nordic companies.
Jussi joined the Firm in 2014 after graduation from law school.

Representation of Valmet, a Finland-based global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries, on its €380 million acquisition of Körber's Business Area Tissue, a tissue packaging technologies and services provider.
Representation of F-Secure Corporation, a Finland-headquartered consumer cyber security company, on the acquisition of the mobile consumer security business from Lookout, Inc., a US-based cloud security and data protection company.
Representation of Euroports Group, one of the largest maritime infrastructure companies in Europe, on the acquisition of a substantial part of BB Logistics, a Finnish logistics service provider.
Representation of Evolver Equity, a Finnish private equity investor specialized in Nordic small-cap buyouts, on the acquisition of a controlling interest in Finnish innovation funding consultancy Spinverse Oy. Lunawood is the global leader in thermally modified Nordic softwood, a sustainable and rapidly growing alternative to traditional building materials and a substitute for tropical hardwood in decorative surfaces. The company, headquartered in Lahti, Finland, has three production facilities in Finland, sales employees in Finland, Germany and France and representatives in Russia and China. The company’s products are sold in 50 countries.

With assumed debt, the total value of the transaction is €3.8 billion.
