Overview

Karl Nordlin is an associate in our Nordic Private Equity team in our Global M&A Practice in Stockholm and joined White & Case in 2019.

Prior to joining White & Case, Karl studied at Stockholm University, Stockholm School of Economics and University of Freiburg. Karl commenced his career at the Firm as Summer Associate and, subsequently, joined as Junior Trainee.

Experience

Representation of Goldman Sachs on the acquisition by Advania (a Goldman Sachs portfolio company) of Visolit, a fast-growing technology group with a strong geographic presence in the Nordic region, from IK Partners and other investors.

Representation of Oatly on its US$10 billion initial public offering (IPO) and Nasdaq New York listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.

Representation of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation on its acquisition of Motum AB, one of the leading providers of modernisation, new installation and service of lifts in the Nordics, from Accent Equity.

Representation of Adelis, a private equity firm focused on middle market investments in the Nordic region, on:

  • the acquisition of Diakrit, a global real estate technology company, and its subsequent acquisition of Virtuance, a US real estate photography and videography company
  • the acquisition of Nordic Biosite, a product supplier within research and diagnostics, and its subsequent acquisition of several European companies
  • the acquisition of Colligent Inkasso, a Swedish debt collection company, through its portfolio company Ropo Capital, a leading provider of invoice lifecycle management services in the Nordic

Representation of IK Partners on the divestment of BST Brandskyddsteamet, a Nordic fire protection system company, to Norvestor.

Representation of Momentum Software, a software as a service (SaaS) company that offers cloud-based property systems to Swedish property owners and managers, on its IPO and Aareon's subsequent takeover of Momentum Software, whereby Aareon has acquired 93 percent of the outstanding shares in Momentum Software at a valuation of approximately SEK 1.8 billion.

Representation of Valedo, a growth-oriented investment fund in the Nordics, on the SEK 6.9 billion IPO on Nasdaq Stockholm of Norva24, a European underground infrastructure maintenance (UIM) service company, and its acquisition of several European companies.

Representation of FSN Capital, a private equity investment firm in Northern Europe, on the IPO of Kjell & Company, a leading consumer electronics accessories retailer, on Nasdaq First North.
