Biography

Katina is a senior attorney in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group at White & Case LLP, focusing on knowledge management, training, and strategic case support. She works closely with partners and matter teams to develop practical resources, playbooks, and repeatable workflows that promote consistent, high-quality execution across complex Chapter 11 matters, with particular emphasis on administration and best practices.

Katina brings nearly a decade of experience as a law clerk to judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Through that role, she developed deep familiarity with the procedural and practical demands of large, fast-moving cases, from first-day issues through confirmation and post-confirmation administration and a strong understanding of what courts expect in sophisticated restructuring proceedings.

Before joining White & Case, Katina practiced at a top-tier global law firm and later at a New York-based firm, supporting restructuring-related matters and advising teams navigating high-stakes, time-sensitive issues. She has also held leadership roles at prominent claims and noticing agents, giving her a strong operational perspective on the coordination, quality control, and deadline management required to run large-scale, high-volume restructuring processes. She brings that management mindset to her work by helping teams operationalize best practices through training, tools, and process improvements designed to perform in real time under court deadlines.

Katina writes on restructuring topics, with an emphasis on administration and best practices, including "The Prepack Primer: The Origin, Evolution, and Overview of the Prepackaged Bankruptcy" (DailyDAC, February 3, 2026) and "Data Privacy in Bankruptcy" (originally published in Thomson Reuters Practical Law; published by Prime Clerk/Kroll, May 20, 2021).
