Biography

Kevin Touhey is a senior associate in White & Case's Dispute Resolution and Construction & Engineering groups, based in London. His practice covers all forms of dispute resolution, but focuses on international arbitration of construction disputes in the context of complex engineering, energy and infrastructure projects all over the world. He has particular experience of arbitrations conducted under the ICC and LCIA rules.

Representing a developer in a statutory adjudication arising from a data centre project in London.

Representing the owner in ICC arbitrations in respect of claims arising under a number of contracts relating to an international airport in the Middle East.

Representing an employer in an ICC arbitration related to a road construction project in the Middle East.

Representing a developer in arbitrations related to the construction of a number of mixed-use developments in Doha, Qatar.

Representing a subcontractor in an ICC arbitration related to the construction of a major metro project in the Middle East.

Representing a developer in an ICC arbitration related to the construction of a large retail complex in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Advising an employer in relation to a hydroelectric project in Africa, providing dispute resolution advice in relation to claims by its contractor.

Representing a major Japanese oil and gas company in an ICC arbitration relating to an onshore LNG facility in Australia.

Representing an HKSE and ASX listed mining company in English high court litigation relating to alleged breaches of a tax indemnity and tax warranties contained in a sale and purchase agreement.
