Overview

Laura is an associate in the private equity team, with a focus on portfolio company assistance.

Prior to joining White & Case, Laura worked as legal counsel for private equity house, Bridgepoint and has also worked in the London office of a Magic Circle firm, during which time Laura was seconded to Equistone Partners.

Laura provides ongoing support to financial sponsors' portfolio companies on all aspects of their business including their capital structure, reorganisations, management incentive plans and other strategic matters ranging from executive hiring and dismissals to compliance issues and operational activities.

Advising in connection with Bridgepoint's acquisition of Wiggle.*

Preparation of the FCA change of controller applications required in relation to Bridgepoint's acquisition of Quilter & Co. Ltd and its subsequent bolt-on acquisition of Cheviot Asset Management.*

M&A advice regarding the acquisition and disposal of various portfolio companies, monitoring portfolio companies, including changes to capital structures, management incentive schemes and appointment of management team members, renewing Fund bridge facilities, and managing CRC and sanctions compliance by portfolio companies.*

Providing legal support to Equistone Partners in relation to its management buyout from its parent bank.*
