Overview

Leila Benyahia is an associate in the EMEA Corporate M&A team of our Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice at White & Case.

Fluent in French and English, Leila is involved in corporate transactions in all manner of M&A, including both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (private equity transactions and industrial M&A), financial and/or operational restructuring of private and listed companies as well as real estate transactions. Leila also advises clients in connection with their intragroup reorganisation.

Leila advises multinational clients, including French and foreign listed and non-listed companies, as well as investment funds and investment banks.

Prior to joining White & Case, Leila was an intern in several high-profile international law firms in Paris.

Leila joined White & Case in April 2021.

ORPEA Group (2023)
Representation of the ORPEA Group on its accelerated safeguard plan, which was approved by the Nanterre Specialized Commercial Court on July 24, 2023. 

Casino Group (2022)
Representation of Casino Group on the signing, together with Tikehau Capital and French public investment bank Bpifrance, of a put option agreement to sell their majority stake in GreenYellow, the energy subsidiary of Casino group, to Ardian Infrastructure for an enterprise value of €1.4 billion and an equity value of €1.1 billion.
