Biography

Lisa Janaszewicz is a senior associate in the White Collar and Investigations practice of White & Case in Paris.

Lisa assists companies and their most exposed executives and employees, whether they are defendants or civil parties, in complex criminal proceedings. She assists them during investigations and judicial inquiries and defends them before the courts. She also advises them upstream in order to anticipate criminal risk.

She works on cases with high reputational and strategic stakes in order to provide tailor-made and innovative solutions, whether litigious or negotiated, to the issues encountered. Lisa is regularly involved in cases where criminal proceedings coexist with other proceedings pending before regulators, civil, commercial, administrative, or foreign courts.

She advises her clients on matters relating to corporate criminal law, criminal tax law, breaches of integrity, and criminal labor law.

She has significant experience in the defense, industrial, construction, banking, and insurance sectors.

Lisa holds a Master's degree in Economic Law and a Master's degree in Business and Tax Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, as well as a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Law from Paris Panthéon-Assas University.

Prior to joining White & Case, Lisa practiced for over 10 years at an Anglo-Saxon firm and then at a leading boutique specializing in white-collar criminal law.

She also spent several years providing emergency criminal defense services.
