Lukáš Královič joined White & Case in April 2011. He obtained his master's degree in law from Comenius University in May 2013 (graduating with honors and the Rector's award for excellent diploma thesis). In August 2014, he graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava with a bachelor's degree in Business Economics and Management. During his studies, he worked as a legal intern at White & Case and as a paralegal at Schoenherr in Bratislava, a law firm specializing in commercial law. He also served as an intern at the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
Mr. Královič has participated in various local and international projects involving corporate and commercial law issues, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has also worked on a number of financing projects and due diligence investigations. His practice includes business law, corporate law, financial law, contract law, employment law and civil law.
Represented a syndicate of banks led by ING Bank N. V. in connection with €197 million financing agreement for Cargo Wagon, a. s. for the acquisition of the national fleet of railcars from the Slovak state owned railway transportation company.
Represented Tatra banka, a.s.in connection with the €235.5 million refinancing to be provided to Vodohospodárska výstavba, štátny podnik.
Represented Banca IMI S.p.A., Citibank, N.A., Erste Group Bank AG, Slovenská sporiteľňa, a.s., UniCredit Bank Slovakia a.s, and Všeobecná úverová banka, a.s. as arrangers under a EUR 520 million loan to the Emergency Oil Stocks Agency of the Slovak Republic used to support the acquisition of emergency reserves of crude oil and petroleum products.
Representing Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank S. A. in connection with negotiations with a local machinery producer in distress regarding their standstill agreement and related arrangements with sponsors.
Represented Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB) in a complex portfolio debt restructuring project concerning three investment assets of the ORCO PROPERTY GROUP located in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (a commercial building in Prague, Czech Republic, the Hlubocky production plant near Olomouc, Czech Republic and the Dunaj department stores in Bratislava, Slovakia).
Representing the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and MH Invest s.r.o. in connection with the preparation, arrangement, negotiation and implementation of a €1.5 billion investment by a strategic investor, Jaguar Land Rover in an industrial park in Nitra.
Representing a leading investment group in acquiring 51% of the issued share capital of an international rehabilitation center based in Slovakia.
Participated in multiple transactions, joint ventures and due diligence projects in a wide array of sectors. Lukáš also provides day to day legal advice to numerous corporate clients.
