Overview

Maja Pyrzyna is an associate in the White & Case Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration practice. She provides legal assistance to clients in court, arbitration and administrative proceedings. The cases she has dealt with primarily involve construction claims (e.g., under FIDIC contract conditions) and disputes between shareholders.

Maja represented the University of Warsaw in the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court competition concerning international investment arbitration.

Prior to joining White & Case, she gained experience through internships in several law firms.

Norddeutsche Landesbank and EKF: representation of Norddeutsche Landesbank and EKF Denmark's Export Agency in connection with the Polish law aspects of granting a loan to Janikowo GP GmbH sp. k. for financing construction of the wind farm "Park Wiatrowy Janikowo" near Inowrocław, Poland, comprising 30 turbines with a total capacity of 60 MW.

A major Polish debt management company: Representation of a major Polish company from the debt management sector in a series of disputes with its minority shareholder.

A European contractor: representation of a European contractor in ICC arbitration concerning a chemical processing plant in Western Australia.

An international construction company: representation of an international construction company headquartered in Spain, in numerous disputes with GDDKiA relating to the construction of roads and motorways.
