Marc is an associate in White & Case's Global Commercial Litigation Practice and a member of the London Technology Disputes team, based in London. He is a dual-qualified litigation lawyer (England and Wales / British Columbia, Canada). Marc has experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial litigation, including financial services litigation, media and technology, white-collar and business crimes, anti-corruption, investigations and compliance, and privacy law.
Prior to joining White & Case, Marc practised at a leading City law firm, as well as at a leading Canadian law firm in Vancouver, Canada.
Representing Facebook Inc. as a member of the team that handles all international litigation for Facebook, including matters in relation to intellectual property, hosting provider liability and defamation laws.
Advising the British Bankers' Association (BBA) in High Court proceedings relating to the alleged manipulation of LIBOR.
Acting for a prominent multinational commodities exporter in connection with a claim by one of its customers for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.
Acting for a large Canadian bank in connection with an application to compel the examination of one of its employees.
Advising a portfolio management firm in connection with multiple investigations by national and regional regulators resulting from the collapse of certain exempt market securities.
Acting for a publicly owned utility corporation in a lengthy and complex commercial arbitration involving the construction of significant energy infrastructure.
