Mathilde is a senior associate in the Paris office's Commercial & Civil Litigation Practice. She joined White & Case in July 2008.
Mathilde advises on domestic and international cross-border litigation, with a focus on commercial and civil litigation, white-collar crime, and enforcement matters, particularly in relation to commercial contracts. She has experience across the full range of commercial litigation, including applications for urgent relief such as interim injunctions.
Mathilde assists clients involved in disputes over the breach of commercial contracts, notably within the framework of a breakdown in longstanding commercial relations. She also advises on shareholder disputes and post-acquisition disputes.
In the white-collar crime area, Mathilde represents clients in proceedings involving issues such as the misuse of corporate funds, fraud, insider trading, and misleading advertising.
In cross-border commercial litigation, she is experienced in conflict of laws issues, including the application of foreign laws. Mathilde advises on procedures relating to the enforcement of foreign and French judgments in France, as well as other types of enforcement measures such as attachment of debt and asset seizures.
Mathilde has a wide range of industry experience, acting for both French and international companies and institutions. Her clients come from sectors including banking & financial services, distribution, hotels & leisure, luxury goods, electronics, automotive, and transport.
Mathilde has spent 6 months on secondment to White & Case's Washington, D.C. office, as part of the team advising a major French bank on a significant cross-border investigation launched by U.S., French, and other European regulatory authorities.
