Biography
Melissa Antonia Pérez is an associate in White & Case's International Arbitration group, based in the Firm's Miami office. She advises clients in the resolution of complex cross-border disputes. Before joining White & Case in Miami, Melissa gained practical experience with the Firm's International Arbitration team in Paris.
Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law and a Master's Degree in Economic Law from Sciences Po Law School in Paris. While at Duke, she represented the law school in the 31st Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and worked with the International Human Rights Clinic.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University. She was a recipient of the U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship as an intern with the U.S. Consulate for Western France in Rennes, monitoring political and economic developments and supporting public diplomacy initiatives.
Fluent in Spanish and French, Melissa leverages her language skills and cross-cultural background to deliver strategic counsel to clients involved in international disputes across a wide range of jurisdictions.
