Biography

Mena's practice focuses on complex patent litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property and patent matters in the pharmaceutical and life science fields.

Mena's practice spans all phases of civil litigation and also encompasses counseling clients on issues pertaining to patent and regulatory exclusivities as well as pre-commercial and launch assessments and litigation risks.

Mena received his law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, cum laude, in 2018. He also earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology, cum laude, from Monmouth University in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, Mena was an associate at an international law firm. He is currently admitted to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia and is registered to appear before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mena also maintains an active pharmacist license in New Jersey, where he worked as a community pharmacist in the past.
