Orlando is an associate in the Firm’s Tax practice, with over six years of experience advising on transaction-driven tax matters, particularly in relation to financial institutions and corporate groups. His practice focuses on cross-border transactions, where he regularly works at the intersection of capital markets, structured transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He has experience advising underwriters and financial intermediaries in public equity offerings and international placements by Mexican issuers, as well as supporting accelerated reorganizations, carve-outs and transfers involving regulated entities. Orlando has also advised multinational corporations on international tax matters, including the application of double taxation treaties.

His dual qualification as both a lawyer and an accountant enables him to provide clear, practical and commercially focused tax advice from both legal and financial perspectives.
