Overview

Ricardo is a capital markets and banking and finance associate based in the Firm's Mexico City office.

Prior to joining White & Case, Ricardo graduated from the Law School of the National Autonomous University of México, where he took a one-year specialization course in Banking and Finance law, and he worked as an associate for several years in one of Mexico's top-tier law firms.

Ricardo has over four years of specialized experience advising companies, banks and financial institutions regarding complex capital markets matters, as well as on secured and unsecured lending transactions. His expertise includes legal and regulatory analysis and negotiations of structured, syndicated and asset-based loans, as well as of Mexican collateral agreements under cross-border transactions, mainly relating to NY law - governed loan and credit agreements. Additionally, Ricardo has provided relevant advice in connection with the Mexican capital markets scenario, providing expert input on equity and debt IPOs, tender offers and ADR listings of Mexican public companies and financial institutions.
