Biography
Rick Saito is an associate in Dispute Resolution practice group based in Tokyo. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked at a "Big Four" Japanese law firm in Tokyo.
Rick regularly advises clients on complex litigation and international dispute resolution matters, with a particular focus on international arbitration (including investor–state dispute settlement), commercial and trade regulations and sanctions, and business and human rights.
His experience also includes advising on M&A and other transactions, global data regulatory matters, and healthcare related contract and regulatory issues.
Rick has been involved in a wide array of pro bono matters. As a junior board member of Lawyers for LGBTQ & Allies Network (LLAN), he has collaborated with LLAN in multiple LGBTQ-related projects.
Rick is fluent in both English and Japanese.
