Biography
Shaobo is counsel in the Intellectual Property Practice in the Firm's Boston office. He helps companies at various stages and across a spectrum of industries navigate complex intellectual property issues and disputes. He has advised clients in matters involving a broad range of technologies, including pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, video and sound processing, semiconductor fabrication and light-emitting diode (LED) manufacturing.
Shaobo has been involved in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through trial and appeal and has represented clients before US District Courts, the Federal Circuit, the US Patent and Trademark Office and the International Trade Commission (ITC). He has had extensive experience with life-sciences patent litigation, including litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act and biosimilar litigation under the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA).
Shaobo maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in immigration matters.

Represented an online brand development and management company in a trademark infringement dispute that resulted in a jury trial win.*
Represented patent owner the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania in a patent infringement dispute asserting US Patent No. 7,625,558 covering methods of treating tumors.*
Represented patent owner Wonderland Switzerland AG in its enforcement of US patents relating to infant car seat mechanisms before the ITC and US District Court.*
Represented Fresenius Kabi as patent owner in Hatch-Waxman litigation against various defendants involving its Naropin® product.*
