Biography
Sofia is an associate in the Firm's International Arbitration group. She represents and advises foreign sovereigns and private companies in commercial and investor-state arbitrations, including before tribunals constituted under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). She maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on immigration and family court matters.
Sofia earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was a Dean's Scholar. Sofia served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of International Law and received the Exemplary Pro Bono Service Award. She also holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, where she was a research assistant.
