Biography
Sofia is a senior associate based in the London office of White & Case LLP, and her practice focuses on contractual front-end construction and project development matters.
Sofia has extensive experience advising developers, contractors and funders on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, both in the United Kingdom and internationally. Sofia is well versed in the full range of standard form construction contracts, including FIDIC, JCT and NEC, and regularly advises on the drafting and negotiation of these contracts across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions.
Sofia's primary focus is in the data centre sector, having advised a number of developers and operators on the construction and delivery of data centre projects in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. Her work spans front-end procurement strategy, contract negotiation and ongoing construction advice.
Sofia joined the firm in 2013 as a legal assistant in the Singapore office, before training in London, which included a secondment to the Abu Dhabi office within the Project Finance team.
