Steve Wrede is the Chief Financial Officer at White & Case. He is responsible for the global finance function including all aspects of budgeting, financial reporting, partner compensation, taxation, treasury and cash flow management. He also works closely with the Executive Committee, Global COO and the firm's practice leaders on financial strategy and business planning.
Steve has over 30 years of experience and prior to joining White & Case in 2008 he was previously with Ernst & Young in New York where he ran the Professional Service Firm Practice serving law firms, consulting firms and other professional service organizations. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on several boards and advisory councils of local and legal industry organizations.
