Overview

Swantje is part of global team that supports technology companies in navigating a broad range of litigation, product, and regulatory matters with cross-border implications.

Over the past few years, Swantje has successfully litigated numerous complex cases and mass litigations throughout Germany for global technology clients, including in the context of intermediary liability issues, user rights, obligations under various notice and takedown regimes, and data protection matters. In connection with that work, she also regularly provides technology companies with product counseling on existing and contemplated global products, regulatory advice on consumer protection and media law matters, and guidance on data protection issues.  Swantje’s practice in this industry covers not only matters specific to Germany, but matters that require coordination, assessment, and advice accounting for related issues throughout EMEA and globally.
