Biography

Yu-Ting Chen is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice at White & Case LLP. She brings a cross-border perspective to complex patent disputes.

Yu-Ting's international outlook is grounded in her personal and academic background. She spent her early childhood in the Netherlands and completed her pre university education in Taiwan, where she maintains close ties. She further deepened her global experience through Temple University Beasley School of Law's study abroad program in Tokyo and as an exchange student at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law.

During law school at Boston College, Yu-Ting developed her advocacy and research skills as a student attorney in the Compassionate Release and Parole Clinic, where she represented clients before the Massachusetts Parole Board, and as a legal intern at the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services, where she filed pleadings and conducted legal research on guardianship and employment law. Yu-Ting also served as President of her school's Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and was a writer on the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter Digest.

Yu‑Ting's international experience, combined with her bachelor's degrees in chemistry and economics from Boston College, position her to navigate IP disputes that sit at the intersection of law, technology, and global markets.
