The Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) has yet again acknowledged White & Case's outstanding commitment to workplace equality with a 100 percent rating in its annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The perfect rating certifies White & Case's place on the short list of "Best Places to Work" for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) employees. This is the 14th consecutive year White & Case has achieved a perfect score on the CEI.

"I am so proud that White & Case has been recognized for our efforts for the 14th consecutive year," said Arlene Arin Hahn (New York), partner and chair of the White & Case Global Diversity Committee. "While we still have so much more that we can do, it is a privilege to be able to participate in the activities and initiatives that our Spectrum LGBT+ affinity networks and Global and Regional Diversity Committees have been driving to help us to provide an inclusive workplace for our LGBT+ community."

The HRC determines each CEI rating by evaluating the organization against a detailed criteria matrix that includes the prohibition of discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression for all operations; contractor/vendor non-discrimination standards that include sexual orientation and gender identity; the availability of partner health/medical insurance and transgender-inclusive health insurance; and other criteria.

The HRC is the educational arm of the largest US civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people.
