2022 has brought with it conflict in Ukraine, an enduring COVID-19 pandemic, inflationary pressures and other economic upheavals. As a result, nations and business leaders must consider a range of views and policies as they navigate in the global economy. To that end, in a time marked by declining trust in institutions, the changing nature of globalization, and vulnerabilities in certain key technologies, business leaders need to develop and implement effective policies that not only address these concerns, but that are also sustainable. Thus, a revised world map is imperative to understanding current and future risks and opportunities.

Professor Mitoji Yabunaka, Author, educator and opinion leader, and Dr. Robert Alan Feldman, economist and commentator, will explore the risks and opportunities in the current state of the global economy, focusing on key elements impacting the international stage and how Japan is positioned to addresses these elements as we reimagine globalization.
